Every gardener needs a good pair of gloves before they touch the soil, and this 54-dot puzzle draws a matching set — one for each hand. It's a short, friendly puzzle split into four sections, easy to finish in one sitting. Work through the left glove, then the right, then the cuffs that tie them together. Find dot 1 at the fingertip and let's get these hands covered.
1–14 — The Left Glove
Start at dot 1 and connect through to dot 14 to draw the outline of the left glove, including the fingers. Little fingers are tricky, short shapes, so encourage careful, unhurried strokes rather than one quick sweep.
Gardening gloves are usually made with a snug fit around the fingers so a gardener can still pick up small seeds or pull thin weeds without the glove getting in the way.
15–27 — The Right Glove
Continue from dot 15 to dot 27 to draw the matching right glove. Since it mirrors the first one, this section is a good chance to compare the two shapes and check they line up before moving on.
Most gardening gloves are made from a mix of cotton or nylon with a rubber or latex coating on the palm and fingers. The coating helps grip tools and stops water and dirt from soaking straight through.
28–41 — The Cuffs
Trace dots 28 through 41 to add the wide cuffs at the base of each glove. These cuffs flare out a little wider than the rest of the glove, so take it slow around the curve.
Wide cuffs on gardening gloves aren't just for looks — they stop dirt, thorns, and crawling insects from getting inside while a gardener is digging or pruning.
42–54 — The Finishing Stitching
Finish by connecting dots 42 through 54 to add the seam lines and final details across both gloves. Thirteen dots left — a steady, careful finish here really makes the gloves look complete.
Reinforced stitching along the fingers and palm is what makes a good pair of gardening gloves last through a whole growing season instead of wearing through after a few weeks of digging.
Great job — your garden gloves are ready for work! Colour them in your favourite pattern, or keep them classic green and brown like the real thing. Ready to dig a little deeper? Try our dot to dot printables for even more free puzzles.
