This 106-dot poppy is the longest Flowers puzzle so far. Begin with the detailed centre, build the soft petals around it, then follow the stem and finish with the leaves. Five clear stages turn the larger number sequence into a manageable drawing adventure.
1–21 — The Flower Centre
Connect dots 1 through 21 to draw the poppy's detailed centre. Work slowly around the small curves and check each number carefully before moving on.
The centre of a poppy contains many stamens arranged around a rounded seed-producing structure.
22–42 — The Upper Petals
Continue from dot 22 to dot 42 to shape the broad upper petals. Use light, smooth strokes to capture their gently ruffled edges.
Poppy petals can look crumpled when a bud first opens, then spread into wide, silky shapes as the flower unfolds.
43–64 — The Lower Petals
Trace dots 43 through 64 around the lower half of the bloom. Watch how the overlapping curves make the flower look full and open.
Many familiar poppies have four large petals, although their overlapping arrangement can make the flower appear to have more.
65–85 — The Slender Stem
Follow dots 65 through 85 down the poppy's slender stem. The longer lines reward a steady hand and careful visual tracking.
Fine hairs cover the stems and leaves of many poppy species and can help protect the plant from small insects.
86–106 — The Leaves and Finish
Complete dots 86 through 106 to add the leaves and final outline. Check that all 106 dots are connected before choosing your colours.
Poppy leaves are often deeply divided or lobed, giving them a feathery outline unlike the smooth leaves of a tulip.
Wonderful work—your poppy is blooming! Colour it classic red, sunny orange, soft pink, yellow, or white. Continue your flower collection with the tulip dot-to-dot puzzle.
