Curtsy time! Here comes a sweet princess with a sparkling crown, flowing hair, and a beautiful gown ready for a royal ball. This 57-dot puzzle builds her up piece by piece, so grab a pencil, find a comfy spot, and let this royal friend twirl onto the page!
1–14 — The Sparkling Crown
Start at dot 1 and work through to dot 14 to draw the princess's pointed, sparkling crown. Crowns have lots of little peaks, so encourage children to look ahead to the next dot before drawing each short line.
Real crowns are often made with precious metals and gemstones, and some historic crowns are so valuable they're kept locked away and guarded around the clock!
15–30 — The Face and Flowing Hair
Continue from dot 15 to dot 30 to shape the princess's gentle face and long, flowing hair. This section has some wide, sweeping curves — remind kids to keep their hand relaxed as the hair flows outward.
Long hairstyles were once a symbol of status in many royal courts, and some princesses had ladies-in-waiting whose only job was to style their hair each morning.
31–45 — The Sparkly Gown
Trace dots 31 through 45 to draw the princess's wide, elegant gown. The lines here are longer and flow outward, giving kids a chance to practise smooth, confident strokes.
Some royal gowns from history were so heavy with jewels and fabric that servants had to help the wearer walk!
46–57 — The Dainty Shoes and Hands
Finish by connecting dots 46 through 57 to add the princess's dainty shoes and gently clasped hands. Just twelve dots to go — a smooth, careful finish here brings the whole princess to life!
In many old fairy tales, princesses wore delicate glass or satin slippers so light they barely made a sound as they walked or danced.
Marvellous work on a 57-dot challenge! Your princess is ready for a gown of shimmering pink, gold, or any royal colour you choose. Discover more free dot to dot printables for every age.
