DotToDotFreePrintables publishes dot-to-dot activities and guides to help people choose, download, print, and enjoy them. This policy sets out our publishing standards and how readers can raise concerns.
Responsibility and authorship
Mira is the creator and author behind DotToDotFreePrintables and is responsible for its editorial direction. Questions about a page or these standards can be sent to [email protected]. Our About Us page provides more about Mira and the project.
Contributors and reviewers should be identified where their involvement helps readers assess the work. A byline or reviewer credit must describe an actual contribution. We do not invent qualifications, classroom experience, product testing, testimonials, or expert endorsements.
How puzzles are produced
The production workflow uses digital artwork, software to place numbered dots, and tools to prepare printable layouts. Automated checks and editorial review have different roles: software can assess numerical and geometric properties, while a visual review can identify confusing placement or an unclear picture.
Our review standard is to check the sequence, dot and number readability, layout boundaries, correspondence between the preview and download, and whether the file opens. This is a publishing standard, not a claim that every puzzle has been tested with children or on every printer. Errors can remain; specific reader reports help us find them.
Difficulty, age, and completion estimates
Puzzle difficulty, suggested age, and estimated completion time are generated from puzzle geometry under a versioned method. These are selection aids, not results of individual learner assessment or timed user testing. Number familiarity, eyesight, pencil control, and personal preference can change the experience.
Adults should choose activities for the individual using them. The activities do not promise particular learning outcomes and do not replace professional educational or clinical advice.
Guides, evidence, and experience
Guides should answer a practical question, such as how to print a PDF or choose a puzzle. Length should follow the question rather than an arbitrary word target.
Claims requiring outside evidence should link to appropriate sources, preferably original research, official documentation, or relevant public and educational institutions. Personal observations should be presented as observations. Broader developmental or health claims require suitable evidence; a printable is not a treatment or an assessment.
AI, automation, and translations
AI-assisted tools and automation may support artwork, drafting, editing, translation, and repetitive production tasks. Generated content still needs review for accuracy, clarity, originality, and usefulness. It must not be presented as firsthand experience that did not occur.
Where the production method materially affects how readers should understand a resource, the page should explain it. Translated text can contain mistakes; report the language, page URL, and confusing passage through Contact Us.
Corrections and meaningful updates
Send the page URL, the affected statement or puzzle detail, and an explanation to our support address. Include a source for a factual correction when possible. Reports are assessed against the content and available evidence; we may ask for more detail.
When a correction is warranted, the affected text or file should be updated. A material correction that changes how readers use or understand an article should be explained on that page. Publication and update dates should reflect actual publication or meaningful revision, not automatic date refreshes. Feedback does not guarantee a particular change or response time.
Commercial relationships and originality
The site offers free activities and paid PDF packs. A paid product should clearly describe its contents and purchase conditions. Sponsorships and affiliate relationships, when present, should be disclosed alongside the affected content. Payment must not be used to justify fabricated reviews or unsupported claims.
Pages should provide a useful activity or answer rather than repeat another page with different keywords. We do not permit copying third-party material without a lawful basis. Rights holders can use our copyright reporting process.
