Ringed Planet Dot-to-Dot Guide

Far beyond Earth, a giant planet turns while broad rings sweep around it. This friendly 43-dot puzzle creates the planet and its rings in four short stages, making it a fun first space challenge. Find dot 1 and begin your journey!

1–11 β€” The Top of the Planet

Connect dots 1 through 11 to draw the curved upper edge of the distant planet.

Fun fact!
Planets look round because gravity pulls their material toward the centre from every direction.

12–22 β€” The First Ring

Continue from dot 12 to dot 22 to trace the first wide arc of the ring system.

Fun fact!
Saturn has thousands of narrow ringlets that look like several broad rings when viewed from far away.

23–33 β€” The Planet's Lower Curve

Follow dots 23 through 33 around the lower half of the planet, keeping the curve smooth.

Fun fact!
Saturn is a gas giant made mostly of hydrogen and helium, the two lightest elements.

34–43 β€” The Rings and Finish

Finish with dots 34 through 43 to complete the sweeping rings on the other side.

Fun fact!
Saturn's rings are very wide but surprisingly thin compared with the size of the planet.

Wonderful workβ€”your ringed planet is orbiting among the stars! Add moons, a rocket, and colourful clouds, then continue exploring with the space rover puzzle.
