How to Solve the Astronaut Helmet Dot-to-Dot Puzzle

An astronaut helmet is much more than a hat — it is part of a personal life-support system that supplies air, shields the eyes, and helps an explorer communicate during a spacewalk. This 51-dot puzzle traces the helmet's top, side fittings, lower collar, and outer shell in five manageable stages. Find dot 1 near the top and follow the numbers clockwise until the helmet is ready for launch.

1–10Across the Helmet Top

Begin at dot 1 and connect through dot 10 around the helmet's upper-right curve. Use smooth strokes to keep the protective shell rounded.

Fun fact!
The clear visor lets astronauts see while helping shield their faces from ultraviolet light and intense sunlight.

11–20The Right Side and Collar

Continue from dot 11 to dot 20 down the helmet's right side and toward the collar. Pause at each bend so the side fittings stay neat.

Fun fact!
Astronaut helmets contain microphones and earphones so crew members can talk with one another and mission control.

21–30Along the Lower Edge

Join dots 21 through 30 beneath the helmet and across the lower control section. The dots are closer here, so check the number sequence carefully.

Fun fact!
A spacesuit's neck ring connects the helmet securely to the suit and helps keep its pressurized air from escaping.

31–40Up the Left Side

Trace dots 31 through 40 around the lower-left curve and upward beside the visor. Keep the long curves even for a balanced helmet shape.

Fun fact!
Outside a spacecraft there is no breathable oxygen, so a spacesuit carries the air an astronaut needs.

41–51Close the Outer Shell

Finish with dots 41 through 51 across the upper-left side and back toward the top. Connect the final stretch carefully to complete the shell.

Fun fact!
Helmet visors often have a gold-coated sun shield that reduces glare and blocks harmful solar radiation.

Excellent work — your astronaut helmet is ready for a mission! Add stars, a Moon landscape, or a colorful reflection in the visor, then discover more space dot to dot puzzles.

Coloring Guide

Astronaut Helmet: Classic Space Colors

A realistic palette inspired by white spacesuits, reflective visors, and metal fittings.

  • 1–10 (Helmet Top): Crayola White — White reflects sunlight and is common on astronaut suits and helmets.
  • 11–20 (Right Side Fittings): Crayola Silver — Silver suggests sturdy metal connectors and hardware.
  • 21–30 (Lower Control Section): Crayola Gray — Neutral gray suits the helmet's lower technical details.
  • 31–40 (Left Helmet Shell): Crayola White — White keeps the main protective shell bright and recognizable.
  • 41–51 (Visor and Upper Shell): Crayola Gold — Gold recalls the reflective sun shields used on astronaut visors.

Astronaut Helmet: Soft Lunar Colors

A gentle palette inspired by moonlight and pale reflections.

  • 1–10 (Helmet Top): Crayola Cornflower — Pale blue gives the helmet a cool reflected glow.
  • 11–20 (Right Side Fittings): Crayola Blue Bell — Soft violet-blue adds calm color to the side hardware.
  • 21–30 (Lower Control Section): Crayola Silver — Light silver keeps the technical panel clear and subtle.
  • 31–40 (Left Helmet Shell): Crayola White — White balances the cooler colors around the shell.
  • 41–51 (Visor and Upper Shell): Crayola Peach — Warm peach creates a soft reflection across the visor.

Astronaut Helmet: Bold Mission Colors

A vivid palette inspired by colorful mission patches and space equipment.

  • 1–10 (Helmet Top): Crayola Navy Blue — Strong blue gives the upper shell a bold space-agency look.
  • 11–20 (Right Side Fittings): Crayola Scarlet — Scarlet makes the side fittings easy to distinguish.
  • 21–30 (Lower Control Section): Crayola Orange — Bright orange highlights the helmet's control area.
  • 31–40 (Left Helmet Shell): Crayola Purple Heart — Rich purple adds an imaginative deep-space accent.
  • 41–51 (Visor and Upper Shell): Crayola Golden Yellow — Golden yellow makes the visor shine like reflected sunlight.
